LA NATURE 

To produce this surface pattern collection for interiors, I was inspired by natural forms and the visual qualities of colour, shape, and texture found in nature. Photography was a crucial element in extracting details to form a series of mark-making and line drawings. Photoshop and Illustrator allowed me to modify the drawings into stencils. I used screen printing to print multiple designs onto natural materials using different binders such as regular, metallic, puff, and foil. The effectiveness of layering binders resulted in exciting textured surfaces, and the earthy colours make the collection feel calm and luxurious by adding metallic. In addition, I experimented with other techniques like knitting and weaving to develop the collection further.
