Environmentally friendly textile design collection for interiors based on an existing trend 'Colour Shift'. This concept explored colour shift aesthetics, inspired by the rich colours of sunsets and different yarn qualities to create a comfortable and sustainable interior collection for soft furnishings. This collection was produced using eco-friendly Sublimation printing technology and an innovative natural pigmented dyeing process. As well as Sublimation printing onto knitted pieces which are unravelled and then woven into a new piece. Also, printing patterns directly onto woven fabrics to expand the collection further. Using naturally dyed yarns, a high intensity of colour can be achieved with earth pigments which are an eco-friendlier solution than chemical colour processes. Experimenting with a different types of yarns and overprinting result in distinctive texture and unique colour qualities.
